An Awareness programme on "Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liya" was organised by Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation, Election Branch DC Office, Aizawl and NSS,WPA Unit on the forenoon of 8th March, 2024 in the Multipurpose Hall of the Institution. Dr.H.Lalchhuanvela, Principal, WPA welcomed the gathering while Dr.Lalchamliani, Sub-Deputy Commissioner DC Office addressed the gathering on the importance of casting votes. The programme concluded by pledge taking and mock casting of votes by the students. The Programme was attended by all the students of the institution.

An awareness programme on the various services that are offered by India Post, Department of Post, Government of India was conducted by NSS, WPA Unit in collaboration with the Department of Post in the afternoon of 8th March 2024 in Room No.9 of the Academic Building of the institution. Emphasis was given to the schemes that are beneficial for the girl child and the use of the mobile application, "postinfo" was demonstrated. Mr.HS Lalnghakliana, Marketing Executive, Mizoram Postal Department who was the resource person for the awareness programme also encouraged the students and staff to promote savings with Postal Department and its importance for the state. Dr.H.Lalchhuanvela, Principal, WPA also delivered a speech on the use of postal services.

Both the programmes that were conducted on this day were chaired by Er.Peter Lalmalsawma, Programme Officer, NSS and Sr.Lecturer.
